Psychotherapy and the Mindfulness Approach
Modern life can be stressful and very busy. Most of us have to move at a fast pace in order to keep up with the demands of our jobs and family life.

There is not time to stop and reflect on the impact of exhaustion on our body and mind.

We often find ourselves chasing ‘what’s next’ in the attempt to control, plan, anticipate or prevent situations which we may have experienced in the past as unsatisfactory, a constant distraction from the present moment experience.
Along the way, we may develop habits which condition how we relate to others and the world.

There might be times when we find ourselves ‘at sea’, going round in circles, unable to take the next step and move on with life. We might have lost someone close to our heart or missed our sense of direction; we might feel confused, fearful of change, disorientated at the inability to come to terms with our condition, and alone with our suffering.
How we overcome our difficulties, traumas and losses, whether physical or mental, makes the difference to the quality of our life and that of those around us.

The Mindfulness based approach to Psychotherapy I practice offers you a unique opportunity to be proactive with regard to the restoration of your well-being and can help creating a healthier and more balanced way of living, decreasing stress and anxiety.
